Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to implement the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in O.Mu.A4/6259/2015 dated 03.08.2015 for rectifying the defects in the UDR Survey and grant patta to the petitioner's property in Survey No.25/1 of Marukkalangulam Village by affording opportunity to all parties concerned as per the petitioners representation dated 22.06.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the fourth respondent to implement the proceedings of the third respondent made in O.Mu.A4/6259/2015 dated 03.08.2015.

2.It is seen that the petitioner seeks for rectification of the defects in the UDR survey and consequently for grant of patta in respect of the subject matter property.

3.It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that it is only the second respondent who is competent to effect the rectification of the defects and therefore, a specific direction may be issued to the second respondent.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has already made a representation to the second respondent on 22.06.2015. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner. No costs.
