Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, the learned Special Government Pleadertakes notice for the fourth respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of his appeal dated 02.02.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is stated that the said appeal preferred by the petitioner before the second respondent is against the rejection of the crop insurance by the authority below. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if such an appeal is in order.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 02.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
