2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the second respondent FIR in crime No. 528 of 2022 has been registered for the offence punishable under Section 406 of IPC against the petitioner herein. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that thought the FIR has been registered in the year 2022, so far there is no progress.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation in this case has been completed and final report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, on 02.01.2023. But it has not been taken on file so far. 4.There shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, to process the final report within the time stipulated as per Rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the contents of the final report, he can workout his remedy in appropriate manner. 2/4

5.Since the final report has been filed, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
