ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur to expedite the trial in C.C.No.132/2016 within a stipulated period. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police has registered a case in Cr.No.67 of 2016 against the petitioner and thereafter, investigation was completed and charge sheet has been filed before the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.132 of 2016 and the same is pending for more than two years. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present Criminal Original Petition for speedy disposal of C.C.No.132 of 2016.
3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials on record.

4.Taking into consideration the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur.
5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, is directed to dispose of the C.C.No.132 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
