ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2023.

2. Based upon the representation made by the petitioner, letter has been addressed by the Sub Inspector of Police, Mellur Police Station, Madurai District to PWD Department, Madurai, seeking information with regard to the granting of fishery right.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner got a fishery right for the period from 2022 to 2023. 2/5

4. Whether the above said right is inforce or not is a matter for consideration by the Competent Department.

5. In view of the above, depending upon the outcome of reply given by PWD Department, the further action shall be taken by the second respondent. During the course of enquiry, the second respondent shall enquire the private respondents by issuing summons. Depending upon the outcome come of the enquiry, if any necessity arises, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
