Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2015 and permit the petitioner on 17.02.2015 to sit as Ayyanpidikki and give Vibhuthi with blessing in the Sri Arulmigu Nallukurumabayyar Thirukovil situated at Karumathur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2015 and permit the petitioner on 17.02.2015 to sit as Ayyanpidikki and give Vibhuthi with blessings in the Sri Arulmigu Nallukurumabayyar Thirukovil situated at Karumathur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2. When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the Inspector of Police as well as the Tahsildar, Usilampatti, Madurai District are present before this Court. On instruction from the respondents, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that there is fight between two groups in respect of the issue in question. This person claims the exclusive right. Therefore, the respondent police apprehends that if permission is granted, as claimed by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, there will be law and order problem. However, they have no objection, if the petitioner gives Vibuthi at his home to his devotees.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
