ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action based on the representation, dated 13.06.2018 within a time frame.

2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent.

3.In the representation, dated 13.06.2018, given to the first respondent-the District Collector, Tirunelveli, the petitioner sought for transfer of the Corporation officials working in Tirunelveli District to some other Districts, namely Chennai, Villupuram, Kadaloor and Vellore.

4.It is pertinent to note that the first respondent-the District Collector, Tirunelveli, has no jurisdiction to transfer the Corporation officials outside Tirunelveli District. On this ground alone, the representation given by the petitioner cannot be considered by the first respondent.
