2. The petitioner wants a copy of the petition mentioned settlement register.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would state that the relevant records are not available with respondents 2 and 3. It is possible that they are available with the first respondent.

4. It is for the petitioner to invoke the provisions of the Right to Information Act and obtain information if the same is available. The question of entertaining a writ petition directly does not arise at all. Leaving open all the rights and remedies of the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
