ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is the father of the private respondents herein. He moved the Maintenance Tribunal under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The petitioner did not get full relief.

3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the District Collector on 20.06.2022. The appellate authority / District Collector, Madurai is directed to dispose of the said appeal on merits and in accordance 2/4

with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The appeallate authority shall put the private respondents on notice before passing final order. I made it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the appellate authority / District Collector, Madurai to pass order one way or the other.
