Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen. He has moved the second respondent by filing an application under Rule 3 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 read with Section 5 of the Act. In the very nature of things, such petitions will have to be disposed of as expeditiously as possible. The second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass final order on the petitioner's application within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall be served before passing final order. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
