O R D E R

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.26 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police dated 01.06.2015 within the stipulated time as laid down by the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure, this petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered on 02.09.2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 406 and 506(i) I.P.C.

4. Going by the nature of the allegations and the number of accused involved in this case, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation, in Crime No.26 of 2015 and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, as expeditiously as possible.
