ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent herein to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 29.03.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner repaid part of the loan amount with exorbitant interest, the proposed accused compelled him to pay exorbitant amount with exorbitant interest and also gave life threat to him and therefore, apprehending danger, the petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 29.03.2016 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking police protection. However, the same was not considered by the respondents so far and hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, gave an undertaking that the third respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
