respondents to publish the reserve list for each communal category in pursuant to the provisional selection list published by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings Nil dated 19.07.2024 in pursuant to the notification issued by the 3rd respondent vide Notification No.03/2023 dated 25.10.2023 in accordance with Section 3(u) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant / BRTE under BC Category on the basis of marks secured by him, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to publish the reserve list for each communal category in pursuant to the provisional selection list published by the third respondent vide his proceedings Nil dated 19.07.2024 in pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent vide Notification No. 03/2023 dated 25.10.2023 in accordance with Section 3(u) of the Tamil 2/5

Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant / BRTE under BC Category on the basis of marks secured by him, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 26.03.2026 and the same was adjourned for filing counter.

3. Today, when the matter is listed again, Mr.Amjad Khan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for third responded brought to the notice of this Court that the third respondent has already published the reserve list on 04.06.2026 and also placed before this Court a copy of Notification No. 3/2023 dated 25.10.2023, Addendum Notification No.03A/2023 dated 15.11.2023, Addendum Notification No.03B/2023 dated 17.05.2024.

4. In the light of the above, the main relief sought in the writ petition is already redressed. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed 3/5

of directing the second respondent to take necessary steps pursuant to the reserved list in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
