PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pay the paver block road in the common path available in survey No.69 of the Thirumalai Revenue Village, Kalligudi Taluk, Madurai District, within the time limit to be fixed by this Court based on the petitioner's village peoples application dated 10.01.2023 & 27.03.2023.

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] The petitioner seeks a mandamus for laying paver block road in the west street of Thirumal Panchayat, T.Puthupatti Village. 2.
Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that though work order was issued by the fourth respondent for laying paver block road in the said street, the same could not be carried out in view of the objection made by the fifth respondent, in whose name the revenue records stand as of today.
3. Leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his right before the appropriate Civil Court regarding ownership of the road in question, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
