O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and her family members based on the representation, dated 01.05.2021.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was an agreement between the petitioner and the fourth respondent regarding construction of building, in which, there was a dispute arose between themselves, hence, the fourth respondent threatened the petitioner and her family members. Therefore, the petitioner made a complaint before the respondents 1 to 3, on 01.05.2021. Since the respondent police have not taken any action, the petitioner is before this Court seeking police protection. 1/3

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 01.05.2021 and it is pending. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.05.2021 will be considered by the respondents 1 to 3.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.05.2021 by following the due process of law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
