O R D E R

Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.AV.Ramanathan, learned counsel appearing for Electricity Board takes notice for R2 to R4

2.According to the petitioners, they have served in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and is yet to be absorbed. Therefore, they made various representations.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners sought for a direction to dispose of the representations on merits and in accordance with law.

4.In view of the such narrow prayer made, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to make a fresh representation, as no acknowledgment is enclosed in the typed-set of papers and on such representation being received, the fourth respondent is directed to pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation. If the fourth respondent passed any order rejecting the claim of the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned authority under the Tamilnadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act 1981.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
