: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to sanction and disburse forthwith the encashment of leave benefits such as surrender leave and leave on private affairs to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's final representation dated 23.09.2015.

************ The petitioner was an Associate Professor in the second respondent College and he retired from service on 30.06.2014. 2.According to the petitioner, the respondents have not yet settled the encashment of leave benefits and hence, he made a representation dated 23.09.2015 to the first respondent in this regard. Since no order was passed, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to sanction and disburse the encashment of leave benefits based on his representation dated 23.09.2015.

if the representation dated 23.09.2015 is disposed of by the first respondent within the stipulated period as directed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited prayer made, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
