Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the 2nd respondent impugned order S.K.No.081 dated 31.05.2020 quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent as per the order of 1st respondent No.40-3/2020 DM-I(A) dated 30.05.2020 to reopen the religious places in non-affected Covid-19 virus Districts.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J., ] The petitioner, by means of Deed of Declaration of Trust, registered as document No.101/2019 on the file of the joint subregistrar Madurai, came forward to file this writ petition styled as 1/3

a Public Interest Litigation praying for opening of all religious places in non-affected COVID -19 Districts.

2. The petitioner/party-in-person would submit that in the light of the subsequent development by permitting for opening of all religious places for worship nothing remains for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. This Court heard the submission of Mr.R.Murugappan, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel for the first respondent and Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.

4. It is brought to the knowledge of this Court that, as on date, all religious places for worship have been allowed to open, subject to COVID-19 protocol in the form of wearing of mask and maintaining social distance and therefore, nothing remains for further adjudication in this writ petition.

Therefore, this writ petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
