PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.76 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A6, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.03.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 120 (b),147,294(b),323, 342, 363,364(A) and 506(ii) of IPC in crime No.76 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein along with other accused planned to kidnap the father of the defacto complainant's father-in-law to extract money, hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. It is seen that there are totally seven accused in this case and the petitioner herein is arrayed as A6. All the accused persons conspired together and kidnapped the victim for ransom and thereafter they have pushed him down from the car and he was rescued https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.6527 of 2023 by the respondent and admitted in the hospital. Further in the said incident, the victim sustained injuries and his left leg was amputated. Now the offences have been altered to sections 147,120 (B),294(b),342,323,364(A), 506(ii) of IPC and section 174 of Cr.P.C. Further the injured is still taking treatment in the hospital as inpatient, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
