O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.122 of 2016, before the concerned forum, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered only on 23.02.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C.

4. Going by the nature of the allegations and the number of accused involved in this case, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Crime No.122 of 2016, and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, as expeditiously as possible.
