ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN,J.) The petitioner has come up with this writ petition by way of a Public Interest Litigation challenging an advertisement issued by the respondent University for recruitment to various non teaching posts in the University.
2.Heard Mr.C.Masilamani, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.At the outset, the petitioner agrees that she is not one of the candidates who has applied for any one of the posts included in the advertisement for recruitment. But the petitioner has come up with a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
challenge allegedly in public interest on the ground that the selection process is not very clear. Such a Public Interest Litigation in a service matter is not maintainable. It is well settled that the jurisdiction of this Court to interfere in such matters is limited to the issue of quo warranto etc., If a case does not fall within the parameters of the exceptions to the general rule a Public Interest Litigation in a service matter cannot be entertained. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, M.P(MD)Nos.1 and 2 of 2015 are closed.
