Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to measure and demarcate the property in Survey No.181/7A in Patta No.617 in V.Nangoor Village, Virudhunagar district as per the petitioner's application dated 02.11.2015 within a time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus, directing the respondents to measure and demarcate the property in Survey No.181/7A at V.Nangoor Village, Virudhunagar District by considering his application dated 02.11.2015 within a time frame.

2.After making the application dated 02.11.2015 to the respondents, within 2 weeks, the petitioner approached this Court and file the present Writ petition, seeking for a mandamus as stated supra. 3.I do not think that such course of action on the part of the petitioner is appreciable in view of the fact that he has not given sufficient time for the respondents to act on the application filed by him, which admittedly was given only on 02.11.2015. Mandamus, can be issued only when the authorities are not acting within a reasonable time from the date of receipt of such application. In this case, only two weeks time passed from the date of filing such application. Therefore, I find that this Writ petition is highly premature and consequently, the Writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
