Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2015 and pay the drought relief amount of Rs.91,875/- for the petitioner's paddy cultivation in 7.25 acres of land as per the National Agricultural Insurance Scheme by including his name in beneficiaries list within a stipulated period. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 06.07.2015 and pay the drought relief amount of Rs.91,875/- for his paddy cultivation in 7.25 acres of land as per the National Agricultural Insurance Scheme. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though such representation was made on 06.07.2015, the 1st respondent has not considered the same so far.

3.Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner on merits, I only direct the 1st respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
