O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose the case in Crl.M.P.No.112 of 2022.

2.According to the petitioner, he filed a petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur in Crl.M.P.No.1748 of 2022, under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C and the same was forwarded to the Inspector of Police, Melur and the same was closed without the knowledge of the petitioner. Therefore, he filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.112 of 2024 under Section 178(3) of Cr.P.C to reopen the case and conduct fair investigation and the same is pending without passing any orders. Hence this petition. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private 2/4

respondent, is inclined to pass order.

4.Since the petition is pending from the year 2022, this Court without passing any orders, directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.112 of 2024, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
