PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, Sumsammal Yashmin, D/o.Samsudeen Raja, aged about 19 years or her body before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner, seeking production of her daughter, namely, Sumsammal Yashmin, aged about 19 years, has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.The detenue is major, as she is 19 years old and she has been produced before this Court by the respondent Police, who would state before us that since she fell in love with one Harisuthan through Instagram, he came and took the detenue on 31.03.2023 and both claimed to have gone to Kodaikanal, where they stayed in Hotel for few days and thereafter, the Police brought the detenue before this Court. 3.The detenue would further state that she realized her mistake and she now wants to go with her mother ie., the petitioner herein. 4.Recording the said statement made by the detenue, we allow the detenue girl to go along with the petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue.
