PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus by directing the first to seventh respondents to take legal action against the 8th respondent for his illegal act of encroachment upon the Vadugakudi Water Channel in Kuruchi Village, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District and consequently directing the first to seventh respondents to survey the Vadugakudi Water Channel in Kuruchi Village.
