An order dated 29.03.2021 in relation to patta transfer is challenged herein.

A preliminary objection is raised by learned Additional Government Pleader and the fourth respondent on the ground that an appellate remedy is available before the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer. In view of the availability of such appellate remedy, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, if the petitioner presents the appeal before the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, such appeal shall be received and disposed of on merits without going into the question of limitation. Needless to say, the private respondents herein shall be provided with a reasonable opportunity in such appeal. 2/4

3. This writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
