ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN,J.) The petitioner who was served with an eviction notice on 09.09.2015 has come up with the above writ petition seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to pass orders on his representation.
2.Heard Mr.R.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner.
3.Mr.B.Pugalenthi, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that after the petitioner gave his objections to the eviction notice dated 09.09.2015, the Assistant Divisional Engineer (Buildings and Maintenance) requested the Tahsildar, Tiruchendur to survey the property and submit a report to find out whether there is actually an encroachment into the Highways. The survey work is taking place.

4.In the light of the steps taken by the respondent, pursuant to the objections given by the petitioner, no further action is necessary in this writ petition. Hence, it is closed. No costs. Consequently, M.P(MD)No.1 of 2015 is closed.
