2. The petitioner is the owner of the petition mentioned premises. He had let out the same in favour of one Ishmail who was running a furniture manufacturing unit. He had not obtained any clearance from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. One Suresh had raised objections. Thereupon, at the instance of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, electricity connection was cut off. The petitioner states that the said Ishmail has since vacated and that electricity connection may be restored. He gives an undertaking before this Court that without clearance from the concerned authorities, the premises in question will not be put to any use, if needed.

3. I direct the respondent to restore the electricity service connection subject to fulfillment of other usual formalities including remittance of charges.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
