: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the lease period of the petitioner for a period of 3 years i.e. 2018 to 2021 in respect of Kannimarkulam Kanmoi, situated in Muthuthevanpatti Village, Bodinayakanur Taluk, Theni District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018.

ORDER

The petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 18.06.2018 to consider his request for extension of lease for a further period of three years. It is pending without disposal. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition.

2. Heard Mr.M.Maran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Nagarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
