Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks for a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider his application dated 09.09.2015, wherein and whereby he is seeking planning approval of the building. Grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not considered the said application so far.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, I only direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 09.09.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
