PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 227 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A10 herein was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.10.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 147,148,120(B),302,506(ii), 109,212,114,149 and 34 of IPC in Crime No.227 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. There are totally 18 accused in this case and the petitioner herein is arrayed as A10. Originally the petitioner was granted bail , however he failed to appear before the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli in S.C. No.381 of 2022, therefore the trial Court has issued Non Bailable Warrant on 23.03.2022, thereafter the accused was secured on 30.10.2022 that too in Bombay.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that now the case is split up and the prosecution already proceeded with the trial. So far prosecution has examined PW.1 to P.W.4 and the cae stands posted for examination of remaining witnesses.

4. This Court by an order dated 13.09.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.16426 of 2022 had directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in S.C. No.381 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of framing of charges and at this stage if the petitioner is released on bail, the entire trial proceedings will be stalled.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
