Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to remove all the unauthorized construction inside the Vaigai Park situated at Vaigai Colony, Anna Nagar, Madurai - 20 forthwith and consequently maintain the Vaigai Colony Park in accordance with law from any further encroachment by unauthorized construction etc. For Petitioner : Mr.C.Jegannathan For respondents 1 & 3 : Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, Addl. [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the respondents herein to remove all the unauthorized construction inside the Vaigai Park situated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

at Vaigai Colony, Anna Nagar, Madurai - 20.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the Corporation would submit that already a fair price shop construction has been removed and if it is found that there is any other unauthorised construction inside the park, the same would be removed in accordance with law. The said statement is recorded.
