PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the Family Court, Madurai, to expedite the disposal of the above petition in H.M.O.P.No.1586 of 2023, and to pass order within time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner in H.M.O.P.No.1586 of 2023, on the file of the Family Court, Madurai, has filed the present revision petition, seeking expeditious disposal of his divorce petition.

2.A perusal of "B" diary extract reveals that the respondent has filed her counter and it is posted for enquiry from May 2024, onwards. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his divorce petition. 3.4000 cases are pending before the Family Court, Madurai, and as on today, the cases filed in the year 2020, alone are being taken up for trial. 4.Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the Family Court, Madurai, with an application for advance hearing. If a case is made out for advance hearing, the Family Court, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the divorce petition as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above said observations, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
