For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 1797 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A8, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,323,324 and 302 of IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is a case of double murder. The case of the prosecution is that on the date of occurrence, all the accused persons, joined together and attacked the deceased and caused his death.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the above case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)would submit that the petitioner's name found place in the First Information Report and he has attacked one of the deceased by name Senthil. He would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.9074 of 2020 also submit that some of the accused persons are arrested and still in judicial custody and the investigation is at the nascent stage.

5. In view of the above facts and circumstances, and also taking into consideration the gravity of offence and the case being double murder and the investigation is also at the nascent stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence, this petition stands dismissed.
