Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents, men and agents and officials from constructing any village Panchayat Service Centre at Pudukkottai District, Aranthangi Taluk, Narpavalakudi South Village in S.F.No.16/1B and consequently direct the respondents to put up construction of Village Service Centre in Sengamari Village in S.F.No.60 at Pudukkottai District, Aranthangi Taluk, Narpavalakudi South Village.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation for the following relief:

"This Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mandamus forbearing the the respondents, men and agents and officials from constructing any village Panchayat Service Centre at Pudukkottai District, Aranthangi Taluk, Narpavalakudi South Village in S.F.No.16/1B and consequently direct the respondents to put up construction of Village Service Centre in Sengamari Village in S.F.No.60 at Pudukkottai District, Aranthangi Taluk, Narpavalakudi South Village."

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that already construction of the Panchayat Service Centre has been constructed in S.F.No.16/1B and that this Writ Petition has become infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, not pressed this Writ Petition.

4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
