ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection based on his representation dated 19.03.2024.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and the same has also been closed on 21.04.2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.
3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court without issuing notice to the third respondent, is inclined to pass order in this petition.
4. According to the petitioner, he received a life threat from the third respondent, thereby he sent a representation for police protection and the same was not considered. According to the second respondent, the representation of the petitioner has been considered and closed. Since the 2/4
representation of the petitioner has already been considered and closed, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner receives any life threat, he can approach the second respondent by way of fresh representation in accordance with law.
