O R D E R

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.5 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police dated 04.02.2016 within the stipulated time as laid down by the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure, this petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered on 04.02.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 11(iii) r/w 120(f) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 506(i) I.P.C.

4. Going by the nature of the allegations and the number of accused involved in this case, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the respondent.
