Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's wife died due to snake bite. The petitioner seeks compensation therefor.

3. The stand of the learned Additional Government Pleader is that if the petitioner had registered himself under the Chief Minister's Farmers Security Scheme, then the petitioner's case can be considered. As on date, the petitioner is not having any material. If the petitioner places any material before the second respondent that he has registered himself under the said scheme, the first respondent is bound to disburse compensation in accordance with the norms.

4. With this liberty to the petitioner to approach the first respondent by enclosing all the relevant materials, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
