Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings issued by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.7286/N3/2023 dated 20.01.2026 and quash the same on the ground that the same is arbitrary, illegal and without any legal basis and consequently, directing the respondents to release the sale deed vide Document No.1653/2015 dated 30.03.2015 to the petitioner.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed against the order dated 20.01.2026 passed under Section 47A(2) of the Indian Stamp Act.
2. It is noted that an alternative remedy is available in the form of a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal before this Court under Section 47A(10) of the Indian
Stamp Act, 1899. The Writ Petition cannot be entertained. Accordingly, granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal under Section 47A(10) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
3. Since the writ petition was filed on 18.03.2026 within the period of 60 days, the petitioner shall file the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal before this Court within two weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order. If the appeal is filed within the aforesaid period, it shall be deemed to have been filed within time, and the Registry shall number the appeal if it is otherwise in order. 02.04.2026 NCC : No smn2 Note:- The Registry is directed to return the original impugned order to the learned counsel for the petitioner to enable the filing of the appeal, after obtaining an acknowledgment on the photocopy of the same.
