PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to restore the water connection to the petitioner house in respect of old water connection No.086/3/339, New Water Connection No.086/030/01799 situated at Door No.12/16, Annamalai Street, Melakalkandarkottai, Trichy City by considering petitioner representation dated 27.03.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

For Petitioner : Mr.K.M.Karunakaran For R1 and R2 : Mr.R.B.Baskaran Senior Counsel for M/s.R.B.Associates O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the Trichy Municipal Corporation to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 27.03.2021, wherein the petitioner is seeking for restoration of the water connection given to the house of the petitioner. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Counsel for the first and second respondents. 3.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 27.03.

2021, conduct enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner and the third and fourth respondents and take a final decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of this order.
