[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's wife namely, Anjel Sharmila, aged about 36 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.It is the case of the Petitioner that the marriage between him and the detenue was solemnized on 25.6.2007. Since then, they have been living happily and she was missing from 19.3.2020. Despite lodging a complaint with the second respondent on 21.3.2020, no action is taken. It is also alleged that the detenue had taken away the jewels weighing 15 sovereigns when she left the house. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.530 of 2020 3.Mr.V.Neelakandan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would state that on enquiry, it came to light that there was a dispute between the Petitioner and the detenue and as per her statement, she had married one Manikumar on 19.3.2020. It is further stated that the detenue had appeared before the second respondent/Police and gave her statement. The statement of the detenue is placed before this Court for perusal. 4.In the light of the above submission, We find no merit in the Habeas Corpus Petition and according, the same stands dismissed.
