PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the proceeding in E3620289 (Tha.Pa.No.350/2022/A5) within the stipulated time by this Court.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a disposal of a petition now pending before the second respondent, though it had been stated in the relief as the first respondent, in E3620289.

2. The entire issue relates to the land in survey number 232/2 which, according to the learned Special Government Pleader is classified as road in the 'A' Register. But this classification is objected by the fourth respondent herein and a petition in this regard, is now pending before the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur. 3.It is also stated by the learned counsel that the first respondent had forwarded the petition to the second respondent giving directions to dispose the same.

A direction is issued to the second respondent to re-examine the entire issue including the classification of the land in the 'A' Register with respect to T.S.No.232/2 and the same may be done, after issuing notice to the petitioner Ravichandran S/o. Joseph and also to the fourth respondent Shanmuganathan, S/o. Shankar and also to all other individuals who may be either directly or indirectly connected with the issue. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the matter is under the purview the second respondent, this Court is refraining from entering into any discussion on facts.

5. This Writ petition stands disposed of. All the parties are permitted to produce necessary records before the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer who may consider those records and appreciate them in the proper light.
