O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to produce the Petitioner's husband namely, Amin, son of Mohamed Ansari, aged about 31 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and produced the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the detenu appeared before this Court through video-conferencing from the Public Prosecutor's Office. On enquiry, the detenu would state that there is no possibility of settlement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.821 of 2021 and he is not being illegally detained either by the respondents or by any private parties. He has also stated that there is no possibility for reunion between them.

4.In the light of the above statement made by the detenu, this Court is of the view that no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same stands closed, granting liberty to the Petitioner to work out her remedy before the competent Civil Court in the manner known to law, if so advised.
