The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate Police Protection for conducting the village Cultural Program on 11.04.2023 at about 07.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M., as part of temple festival of Arulmighu Shri Akkandiamman Temple at Konnaiyampatti, Edaiyathur Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2023.

2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event at Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
