2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-Police submits that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982, vide order dated 31.03.2025.

3. At this juncture, Mr.R.Maheswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. In that effect, he has made an endorsement in the case file and the same is extracted hereunder: "Permitted to withdraw this petition."
