RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) NO.2928 of 2020, dated 19/02/2020 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.GOKUL, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court.

2. This Court, by an order dated 19.02.2020 in Crl.OP.(MD) No.2928 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni on 29.04.2020 and to file a petition to recall the warrant.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that at that time the petitioner was in Malaysia and due to pandemic situation there is no flight service to come to India and hence, he was not able to surrender and file a petition to recall the Non-bailable warrant.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police. .

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, time is extended by Two weeks from today and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below on or before 27.08.2020 and also directed to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench, Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai-625 023 (Indian Bank Saving Account No.496039124, IFSC Code: IDIB000H040) without prejudice to his rights and contention before the trial Court. sd/- 13/08/2020 / TRUE COPY / / /2020 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
