ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate 1/4

Court No.III, Madurai to dispose the above case in C.C.No.25 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible and within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The grievances of the petitioner is that charge sheet was filed in the year 2017 and for the past six years, there was no progress in the trial proceedings.

3.The learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that so far one witness was examined by the prosecution and within six months, the entire process will be completed.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

5. Considering the oldness of the C.C., there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Madurai, to complete the trial process in C.C.No.25 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
