ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent/complainant to register the FIR based on the order dated 03.02.2022 passed in Cr.M.P.No.18 of 2022, on the fie of the learned Judicial Magistrate,Tiruchuli and conduct fair investigation.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 18.11.2021, the accused persons assaulted the petitioner and her paternal aunt and also abused them with filthy languages. In this incident, the petitioner's paternal aunt sustained injuries. Then, the first respondent enquired the petitioner, recorded the statement and issued CSR. Thereafter, the first respondent did not take any step in this regard. Hence, the petitioner has filed a petition in Cr.M.P.No.18/2022, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchuli. Further, he submitted that by order, dated 03.02.2022, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchuli, directed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.8481 of 2022 first respondent to register a case and conduct investigation. But, the first respondent filed a report without complying with the said order. Hence this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the petition filed by the petitioner in Cr.M.P.No.18 of 2022, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchuli, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.67 of 2022, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998.

4.Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition stands closed.
