ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the third respondent is threatening the petitioners to vacate the premises, which is a subject matter in this petition. The learned counsel further submitted that the case in hand is purely civil in nature, however, the third respondent lodged a criminal complaint before the second respondent. Having no other option, the petitioners lodged a complaint dated 24.05.2021 to the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that the the respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 4.Whatever might be the circumstances, the second respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 24.05.2021 by following the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.
